Aleksander BerentsenHallo, mein Name ist Aleksander Berentsen. In diesem Blog poste ich meine Zeitungsartikel, welche ich gelegentlich für die Tagespresse schreibe. Ich bin seit 2001 Professor für Wirtschaftstheorie an der Universität Basel. Meine Forschungsinteresse umfassen monetäre Ökonomie, Makroökonomie und Spieltheorie. Ich habe an den Universitäten Basel und Bern und an der London School of Economics studiert. Gastprofessuren haben mich an die University of California in Berkley, der University of Pennsylvania, der Universität Zürich und an die Freien Universität in Berlin geführt. Im ersten Halbjahr 2011 hatte ich die Gelegenheit meinen Sabbatical and der Bank für Internationalen Zahlungsausgleich zu verbringen. Seit mehreren Jahren bin ich auch wissenschaftlicher Berater an der Federal Reserve Bank von St. Louis in den USA. Wissenschaftlichen Artikel habe ich unter anderem im American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Theory, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Journal of Monetary Economics, International Economic Review, und European Economic Review veröffentlicht.
